I turned a page in the more-than-a-century-old book that I was taking notes from yesterday and discovered this: a flower, maybe a carnation, pressed between its pages. It made me smile.
Also unexpected: the way my pigeonroof studios merino handspun is knitting up, and I love it.
I love the way your handspun is knitting up, too. And, as always, I am envious of your spinning skills!
what a fun discovery!
the yarn is knitting up *beautifully* :)
Sweet!
I love unexpected finds in books! A flower is particularly wonderful. So pretty, that handspun.
I love pressing plants! Your handspun is gorgeous.
That is so cool. It makes me wonder who left it there, where he/she got the flower (from a sweetheart?), when it was. SO cool.
I also love how your handspun is knitting up! It looks so soft…like cotton candy.
What lovely surprises! Now that’s a great midweek pick-me-up.
I’m lvng the pigeonroof! What’s the colorway? Did you spin this yourself?
