sustenance.

Toast with cream cheese and strawberry balsamic jam.

Broccoli raab and kale with garlic, chile, and a fried egg.

The border of my ripe bananas lap blanket.

I set aside Thursday afternoon for writing. And while the words didn’t come easily, I’m a few paragraphs richer today.

  1. I think I need to come round to your house for a snack. The lap blanket is looking good, can’t wait to see it completed.

  2. The food looks good,,,,but…..the Bananas blanket, how great is that? Good name and great colors. That will be a wonderful lap blanket – a keeper? or a gift for some lucky person?
    Now I’m hungry and it’s only 8:22 a.m. and I’ve already eaten breakfast :(

  3. Mmmm. I’m always impressed with how wonderful your bread looks. I’m making some this weekend (but I’m cheating, using the breadmaker). ;-) Is there anything better than a blanket knit out of handspun? I think not.

  4. Delicious looking snacks! I’ve never tried a fried egg on my green veggies. I’ll tell my husband about it – he’s the real experimenter in the kitchen. : )
