repeat after me.

I will not knit anything that isn’t garter or stockinette before finishing my first cup of coffee. I will not knit anything that isn’t garter or stockinette before finishing my first cup of coffee. I will not knit anything that isn’t garter or stockinette before finishing my first cup of coffee. I will not knit anything that isn’t garter or stockinette before finishing my first cup of coffee. I will not knit anything that isn’t garter or stockinette before finishing my first cup of coffee. I will not knit…

Sigh. I’ve been un-knitting this morning for almost twice as long as I knit. And I know better. Is it Friday yet?

  1. Oh man. That is a hard lesson to learn. I’d step away from the knitting and concentrate on the coffee.

  2. Feeling with you! But what a nice orange! Also: Same here! Knitting even plain stockinette before my first cup of tea will result in disaster…

  3. Lace bites when you make an error, especially when one is tired or uncaffeinated. Fingers crossed you’re back on track soon.

  4. Oh, I feel your pain! Been there more times than I’d care to admit! Enjoy your coffee, and take a break from the knitting for a while. It’ll all work out later!
