goodbye/hello

I know I’ll be returning often, but man, driving away from there (the place, the job, the life) was harder than I thought it would be. 2000+ miles later, I’m here in my new-to-me cozy apartment, surrounded by far more greenery than I’m used to. I will love this town, and my new grad student life — I’m sure of it. I’m glad that I have a few weeks of getting to know it before the madness of school starts. I need a little more time to adjust to being present here.

If the sun shines tomorrow, I’ll be able to take some decent pictures of my apartment to share — along with my sassymetrical progress.

Also, thanks for still being here — I’m planning to catch up on comments and get back into a more regular blogging routine as I settle into my first semester of grad school.
